ANNOUNCEMENTS

-STUDY SESSION Thursday December 11th Meet at my office 7.B.13. We will find a classroom and people can work individually on problems from 9 am - 2 pm. I will be there to answer as many questions as I possibly can.

-(Sun Dec 10th) Your FINAL EXAM IS ON FRIDAY DEC 12TH! If you haven't already started studying now is the time to do so. I will be in my office tomorrow, Monday Dec. 11th from 9am to 1pm. Feel free to come and do work at school and I will be able to assist you (I am in 7.B.13). I suggest you redo your past tests and the review exercise for each test. Don't spend too much time on one subject, make sure you look over every topic at least once. -(Fri Nov 28th) TEST 4 is on Friday Dec. 5th.
It covers sections 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 6.1 and 6.2

-(Friday Nov 21st) BONUS ASSIGNMENT DUE TUESDAY MORNING: 1% on your FINAL GRADE. Questions 1-10 of section 4.5. Late assignments will not be accepted. Note that the units used in question 3 are "running feet", which means the number of feet on the ground. Please send me e-mails if you are having trouble interpreting the problems. THE ASSIGNMENT IS DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF CLASS, if you are more than 10 minutes late, your assignment will not be accepted.

-(Fri Nov 21st) QUIZ 12 will cover sections 4.4 and 4.5 (with emphasis on section 4.4 business word problems (#45-54))

- (Sun Nov 2nd) Quiz 9 will cover the same sections as Quiz 8, but the questions will be more difficult. I've also added more homework exercises for section 5.5 (see below).
- (Mon Oct 27th) Quiz 8 will cover sections 3.6 (Implicit Differentiation) & 5.5 (Differentiation of Logarithmic functions). See homework exercises posted below.
-(Wed Oct 22nd) ***Correction on derivative practise sheet*** Question 2 (u) Answer : 2sinx/cos^3x, note this will also affect the answer to 2(v)
-(Thur. Oct 16th) Quiz #7 will cover homework exercises from sections 3.5 (higher order derivatives) and 5.4 (derivatives of exponential functions)
-(Thurs. Oct 16th) TEST #2 is NEXT FRIDAY Oct. 24th. The test will cover sections 3.2, 3.3, 3.4 3.5, 12.3 (trig. functions) & 5.4 (exponential functions). I have prepared some exercises for you to do, keep in mind that these are only derivatives and do not include any of the world problems that you are also responsible for.
